Ohunjon Madaliyev Nusratovich was born on May 21, 1963, in the village of Yangiarab, Oltiariq district, Fergana region, into the family of a master carpenter named Nusrat. After graduating from secondary school in 1980, he submitted his documents to the music faculty of the Fergana State Pedagogical Institute in 1981. He successfully completed his studies at the institute in 1985 and was assigned to work as a music teacher at secondary school No. 26 in the Oltiariq district.


Later, he worked at a vocational and technical school, and after some time, served as a solo performer at the Fergana State Philharmonic.
In 1989, he won the "Kamolot 89" competition in Tashkent and presented his first solo concert program at the "Palace of Friendship of Peoples" in December of the same year. Subsequently, the singer performed concerts in the Republics of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.


For his worthy contribution to the art of singing, Ohunjon Madaliyev was awarded the "Shuhrat" medal by the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, on August 26, 1997.
On August 25, 1999, he was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Uzbekistan".
In 1983, he released his first music album titled "Ziyodam". Later, he presented musical albums such as "Seni asrasin", "Kimligini aytmayman", "Sendadir xayolim", "Yulduzim", "Navbahor", "Javohirim", "O'zbeklarim", "Yolg'iz ayol", "Sog'inch", "Yoshligim", and "Unutmoq osonmas bizlarni" to his fans.
Ohunjon Madaliyev was a very prolific artist. Almost every one of his songs is still remembered by his fans today. In particular, dozens of the singer's songs such as "Turkman qiz", "Unutmoq osonmas bizlarni", "Ketaman", "Nasibam", "Maqsading nima?", "Seni bugun ko'rmasam bo'lmas", "Javohirim", and "Yolg'iz ayol" became very popular.
When talking about Ohunjon Madaliyev's humanity, those who knew him closely say that he was humble, modest, and generous. As he said in his songs, he maintained his humanity. One of his other songs contains the following lines:

If you don't take your place among your peers,
If you don't emerge a proud winner in this field of struggle,
If you don't remain forever in thousands of hearts,
Do not say I have a life, it is not a life.

Like Zahriddin Muhammad Babur, who was one of the true sons of the valley, Ohunjon Madaliyev also lived a short life
